How To Pick HCG Diet Doctors

This article describes how to locate hCG Diet Doctors.  There are several clinics that offer the hCG diet.  Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) must be prescribed by a licensed medical doctor.  The hCG diet doctors are needed to obtain a prescription for hCG, otherwise you cannot legally obtain it.  The following process should occur:

Locate an hCG clinic in your area by visiting the HCG Clinics Directory and then visit your local physician or an authorized/certified hCG clinic.  Doctors and clinics have been selling and providing hCG to patients for years with tremendous success. These clinics often advertise "medically supervised weight loss....". And of course there are clinics that don't advertise the hCG diet at all. But if you want to lose weight fast, hcg diet doctors can help you get there.

Your physician or doctor in the clinic will need to create a work order for you to take a blood test.  This blood test will either take place at that medical center or at another location that specializes in lab tests and blood work.

There is typically a "minimum" of blood work required however some clinics and/or doctors may request more then the minimum provided here.

There are a number of things the blood is tested for:  Complete blood count (CBC), thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH), a basic metabolic panel also referred to as Chem-7.  It depends on the faciility, but some may require additional testing for their own reasons and some charges will be incurred if they are not covered by insurance.  You must consult your provider for more details.

After your blood work has been reviewed and evaluated and it is determined that you may proceed with the hCG protocol, the doctor will write a prescription and the hCG is then ordered.  It depends on the doctor and clinic if they take care of this as part of their service, or they request that the pharmacy contact you to obtain payment for the hCG.

While the hCG diet, its research, testimonials etc. are controversial, even though Dr. Simions first published his finding more then 40 years ago and found that hCG contributes to the redistribution and elimination of adipose tissue (fat) when combined with a very low calorie diet (VLCD) of 500 calories.  There is one thing that is for sure: The fast weight loss for those on the hCG diet has been dramatic, and vastly more effective than virtually all other weight loss programs.

It should be pointed out, because it is widely misconstrued, that the hormone itself is not responsible for the weight loss.  Rather, it is the restricted caloric intake. However, if one were to only go on a diet of only 500 calories without using hCG, the weight lost would almost entirely be of lost muscle tissue - this is an extremely unhealthy weight loss. Because of this, the hCG diet doctors write prescriptions for hCG which releases fat during the very low calorie diet instead of muscle tissue.

What the HCG injections do is to help reignite the Diencephalon region of the brain, the area partly responsible for proper metabolic processes within the body. It is sort of a "tune up" for the metabolism.

The advantages of HCG is that it will prevent feeling hungry while on a VLCD (Very Low Calorie Diet) and it will trigger the body to go and attack the unwanted fat deposits around areas like thighs, under arms, belly etc. In addition, it will use the energy in these fat deposits which in turn provide the additional calories one needs to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.
